MEMORY LANE INC., based in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, was established in Delaware by Dr. Augustine Manneh Sumo in 2016. This platform was created out of a deep passion for history and the power of personal and scholarly narratives. As a brand new writing business, we specialize in helping individuals and families explore their past, document their heritage, and create lasting historical records. Dr. Augustine Manneh Sumo is a prominent expert in Public Policy, law, and public policy administration with over 20 years of experience across various development sectors. Significant contributions mark his career as a civil society advocate, a dedicated researcher, historian, and academic leader. Dr. Sumo's work is characterized by a strong commitment to improving good governance and resource management. He has actively participated in policy advocacy, collaborating with stakeholders on local, national, and international levels. Through his efforts, he aims to shape and improve public policy outcomes, fostering meaningful change that positively impacts communities worldwide.

Dr. Sumo founded Memory Lane Incorporated, a nonprofit focused on reshaping Liberia's historical narrative. Believing in the power of storytelling, the organization aims to provide accurate accounts of the nation's past while leveraging social media to engage a diverse audience. Through compelling content, Memory Lane seeks to deepen understanding and appreciation of Liberia's rich culture and heritage.  

Dr. Sumo is a notable figure in the health sector, recognized for his role as the founder and former President of the EFE International Sickle Cell Foundation. He is an accomplished author, particularly known for his award-winning book, "Coping with the Threat of Ebola," as well as several other internationally available publications.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liberia, a Ph.D. in Public Policy from Walden University, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from California State University – Fullerton, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Born in 1964 in Bomi County, Liberia, Dr. Sumo brings a rich and diverse perspective shaped by his experiences across Africa, Europe, and the Americas. He is affiliated with numerous prestigious organizations, such as the International Association for the Study of Pain and the Phi Beta Kappa Society. Dr. Sumo emphasizes that one's birthplace does not determine one's future, underscoring his belief in individuals' ability to shape their own destinies.
